Dr Edawati Dahrawi Edrus graduated as a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from University Science Malaysia (USM). Hailing from Kuching, Sarawak, she served as a medical doctor at Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) in 1998. She obtained her Masters in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MMED) from USM and has more than a decade’s experience as an obstetrician and gynaecologist.

In the subsequent years, she developed a passion to help couples start their own family, even more so after realising there were limited fertility service providers in Sarawak. She then decided to further her studies to subspecialise in Reproductive Medicine under the Ministry of Health (MOH) Malaysia and is a certified Fertility Specialist.

Dr Edawati has been managing fertility patients from East Malaysia, in particular Sarawak, and neighbouring countries as well. She provides the full range of obstetrics, gynaecology and fertility services; including IVF, male fertility treatment and laparoscopic surgery.

Dr Edawati Dahrawi Edrus is a member of the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Malaysia (OGSM); and Sarawak Family Planning Association. She is also a Visiting Board Member of the Taman Seri Putri Welfare Institution in Kuching and an Honorary Adjunct Lecturer for Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS).
