Dr Chan Joe Mee read medicine at University Malaya with a full scholarship from Bursa Malaysia. She underwent her houseman training at University Malaya Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur and Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (HTAR), Klang. She then undertook her Specialist Registrar training in HTAR and continued to subspecialty training in reproductive medicine.

Dr Chan found her interest in reproductive immunology and reproductive genetics while pursuing subspecialty training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Her heart goes to helping couples who suffer from infertility, including recurrent implantation failure and miscarriages. She completed her subspecialty training under the Ministry of Health, Malaysia and her fellowship training in University of Ulsan, Korea. Her training included seeing patients with diminished ovarian reserve, endometriosis, myomas, adenomyosis, uterine anomalies, endocrinological pathologies, PCOS, pelvic inflammatory/ tubal pathologies, male infertility, reproductive immunological and genetic conditions.

Dr Chan is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, UK and the Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproduction (ASPIRE). She is also actively involved in various research in her field and authored published papers and audit.

Dr Chan always believes in providing evidence-based quality care and services to couples who struggle in their reproductive and pregnancy journeys. She wants to make a positive contribution in assisting couples who encountered difficulties and hardship trying to conceive or sustain pregnancies.
