Donation Programmes
Sunway Fertility Centre offers sperm and egg donor programmes* for couples who require a donor sperm and/or egg to create a family. All sperm and eggs under our donation programme undergo a comprehensive screening to ensure that they are in good health.
For some women, the only way to start a family is through an egg donor. There are several possible reasons that attribute to this reason including:
- Advanced maternal age
- Genetic issues
- Have experienced several miscarriages with unknown causes
- Premature ovarian failure or also known as premature menopause
Male infertility can range from mild to severe. In some cases, results from a semen analysis would identify that the male partner has no or very poor semen.
A sperm donation programme is typically considered when other male infertility treatment options such as testicular sperm aspiration (TESA) or percutaneous epididymal sperm aspiration (PESA) here yield unsuccessful results
Sunway Fertility Centre does not publicly recruit sperm donors for compensation or payment-based programmes. Donation services are strictly governed by medical, ethical, and legal guidelines in Malaysia, and are only applicable for selected fertility cases under specialist assessment.
